Hello world!

Starting up a page to keep you informed on my journey to get in shape in support of a friend who has signed up for an obstacle course race and has no one to train with.  The goal is to abide by her workout recommendations on a daily basis, reporting in with my accomplishments and if things work out, I could possibly attend the race with her.

The challenges?  Lets start with the age thing. We are both 52 and she has been more active than I who sits at a desk 50-60 hrs a week.

She is currently – as is the race – in Australia and I am in the Rocky Mountains of the US.
